The first Fulham Welcomes You! evening was held at Nomad books on 22nd of March. It was a great success with approximately 60 people turning up, made up of newcomers, local business and community leaders.

Speakers: Councillor Stephen Greenhalgh - Chair for Hammersmith & Fulham, Roz Denny – Food Writer and Guide, and Jamie Shawcross of Emma Bridgewater's all gave anecdotal speeches on why they like living and working in Fulham, while Steven Thorpe - Sergeant, Fulham Town Ward updated us on local policing matters.

Nearly twenty local businesses and organisations helped us fill 50 Welcome bags with useful information, discounts and super gifts! Which were handed out as people left.

Based on the great feedback, positive support and offers of help from those that attended, we are already working on arranging future Fulham neighbourhood events in the Fulham Broadway, Parson's Green and Bishop's Park areas of Fulham.

If you would like to be involved as a newcomer to Fulham and potential guest, or as a potential Friend of Fulham to welcome and offer support for newcomers or as an organiser, sponsor or participating business please e-mail us
